Either small or antique, a lamp can mean that your activity is enlightened. Here I will present you some basic types of lights that every person with intellectual activities needs.
It is an easy way of handling a lamp, so I’ll explain in a few words how does it work. First, you need a touch lamp; they are made to react when touched by a human body. The main property used by them is capacitance, the body’s capacity to hold electrons. When contacted, the lamp “fills up” with electrons transferred from the human body, thus triggering the “spark.” There are many advantages of using one like:
- You don’t require to press a switch, touch.
- Different intensity levels.
- Interlinking of the lamps can be.
Of course, disadvantages exist like:
- It fills up with dust.
- Leaves fingerprints on it.
However, that can pass because you will need a bit of extra maintenance for them.
If you spend much time sitting on your desk working, then a desk lamp is quite fitted for you. “Why?” you may ask, if you turn the lights off and turn on the fire you will see an absolute difference in the way that you can look at the objects on the desk, more clear, less tiring.
Probably the most effective type of desk lamp is the fluorescent one. Although it’s not quite esthetic, the light is very relaxing, and it’s made for people that use it frequently or for long times. The classic incandescent bulb lamp used for short period of times or the looks rather than functionality.
These types of lamps are optimized to the extreme when it comes to reading enhancement. They use a simple system to focus the light into the spot you are reading, making the text more comprehensive. They usually go in there with a flexible arm and in most cases have 35-40 watt hydrogen bulb that produces a lot more light.
These are the lamps that you would typically find sitting on the floor with a long arm. They represent a work of art. It’s just something special, a beautiful mix of design and functionality. It helps maintain the romantic or retreated mood and helps establish a specific harmony by lighting only a part of the floor/ceiling. Rays of light entangled one in another; interdependency is making felt in the atmosphere.
What is the perfect way of encasing the room’s lighting mood without making holes into the ceiling? Make holes in the walls! Wall lamps well adapted for hallways or lobbies. If you see an area from your room that isn’t so illuminated, plant a wall lamp there and your problems will fix.
