Living room design requires a very different approach than the rest of your rooms. Before going into the details of what or how you want the design of the living room to be the first to analyze the purpose you are going to use this living room.
Several points need to consider. It is all directly related to your lifestyle. What kind of lifestyle do you have? Are you a working professional in a company or self-employed?
Do you spend most of your time in home-like work-from-home entrepreneurs or travel a lot for your business. Questions to all these answers will define certain parameters that are related to design.
It's straightforward, any design whether it is the living room and any other, other space is directly related to humans.
So if you have answered the above question as a work-from-home professional, then you probably spend most of the time in your home. In that case, you will have to further look into your specific interests such as colors, styles (oriental or contemporary), your budget, etc.
Also look for your specific habits such as watching TV, the amount of time you spend in watching TV if you have family members such as your wife/kids, etc when do they use the living room. Depending upon all these the furniture and their layout can be finalized. If you like reading and collecting books, would you like to store them in a showcase in your living room? In that case, the reading /study table is going to be in your living room or elsewhere? So habits do have a significant impact on design. All you need is to analyze your daily activities and plan accordingly.
Successful living room design is a combination of many things such as furniture layout, color schemes, use of accessories, furniture design and the kind of comfort levels they provide and how natural light enters your living room.
If you can make use of all these design elements creatively with extreme simplicity, then you'll be able to create beautiful and habitable living room spaces.
