Many features can proclaim a bathroom to be first-rate, however, none seem to announce it as tastefully as a granite bathroom sink. This merely elegant touch exudes class without the need for flash and flare. Granite is quietly graceful. It doesn't need the sparkle of marble, which is only temporary granite is timeless.
It argued quite often that marble is a better choice for vanities in the bath. It isn't quite as bad in the bathroom as it is in the kitchen because the countertops not use in the same manner that they are in the kitchen. Granite is no doubt better in the kitchen than marble and will last much longer without the need for extra care.
They both are timelessly beautiful, and they both compliment the types of woods that are often favorites for these rooms. You do not have to limit either material to sinks or countertops, however. Granite and marble both make beautiful flooring, the can be used to create a natural atmosphere in a room and still maintain the sense of flawless grace that very few other materials can. Another reason they are great for both bathrooms and kitchens is that they stand up to the elements that are unique to these rooms such as moisture and steam, very well compared to other materials.
Using high-quality materials such as granite calls to mind that less is sometimes more. It is much better to have a few very high-quality features in your bathroom rather than creating a cluttered atmosphere where the real beauty of the room lost. Having one genuinely spectacular function in a shower and combining that with a couple of above average items can make a much higher impression than having too many nice pieces. You want people who walk into your bathroom to notice the more beautiful things you put into it. You don't want your hard work to go unrecognized.
Whether your stone of choice is marble or granite or a completely different stone, bringing the outside indoors is the newest trend in bathrooms. I can think of very few things that I find more enjoyable than the look and feel of granite, which I believe is an excellent choice for a bathroom sink.
