Probably one of the most comfortable places in your home to ignore is your closet. However, once you get to the point where you open the door, and everything starts flying out at you, you know it is time to organize your closet. So, how can you get your wardrobe organized again so you can find clothes that match?
Tip #1 – Get Rid Of Anything You Don’t Wear or Use Anymore – First of all you will need to go through your entire closet and get rid of anything in there that you don’t wear or use anymore. Even if you think you may be able to get back into those size six jeans someday, you probably need to give up and get rid of them. You may be surprised at what you’ll find in your closet, so get rid of everything you don’t need and you’ll have a lot more room available.
Tip #2 – Clean Your Closet Regularly – Cleaning your closet on a regular basis is, and it will help you make sure that your wardrobe doesn’t turn into a total disaster. Just taking the time to do a bit of cleaning every couple weeks on your closet can keep you from having to spend hours cleaning it every few months. So, one of the most critical closet organization tips to remember is to make sure you wash your closet out on a regular basis.
Tip #3 – Stackable Plastic Tubs Can Help – More than likely not everything in your closet is going to be hanging up, and one of the best ways to organize clothing that doesn’t get hung up or apparel that is seasonal is to come to some plastic tubs that are stackable. Then you can easily store clothes in them and stack them on the back wall of the closet for easy access.
Tip #4 – Get a Shoe Organizer – Many people have problems keeping their shoes organized, and the last thing you want to do is go in search of a missing shoe when you are running late to work in the morning. You’ll be able to keep all of your boots organized so you can easily find them whenever you need them.
Tip #5 – Install Hooks on the Walls – Of course there are some things that you don’t want to fold or hang, and in this case installing some hooks on the walls in the closet is a great idea. Will help you organize belts and scarves, so you have easy access to them.
