WHY NOT WEDNESDAY - "Hey Bloodhounded, What's For Dinner?"

Did you know that in addition to my "real job" as a program director for a USDA school lunch subsidy grant, on the weekends I am a saute cook at a popular restaurant? I've done it for years and I really enjoy working with a great team of guys and gals who teach and learn with enthusiasm. I like to add some dishes from my favorites to the specials and always boast how people are ordering my meals. Then I secretly urge the waitstaff to come back and tell how much the customers enjoyed it and gave their compliments to the chef. This gets the cooks all fired up and they try to out do me. It makes for a great working environment and the customers must love it!

At home I am also the primary cook. I do all the kids and Mrs. Bloodhounded's lunches for school, supervise a healthy breakfast and make dinner four of the seven days of the week. Again, I love to cook so it's all good with me. It's relaxing. Hey, some guys grab a beer after work, I grab a knife, you got a problem with that? LOL.....

By looking at these pictures of ingredients, do you know what Bloodhounded's making for dinner? If not, just click on the picture for the entree and my recipe.
Bon Appetit!

You sure keep busy my friend! Tony loves Chicken Marsala and it's one of his favorite dishes to cook for his girlfriend. I'll tell him to check out your recipe.

My mouth is watering from reading this article! I, too, consider myself the primary cook in the household. Just the other week I made a mean vodka sauce. Unfortunately, most in the house are afraid to try new things, so I reserve my cooking for when I have the house to myself. Thanks for the post!

Whatever it is, it looks tasty! I like to bake more than I do cook... but either way I don't do it THAT much because I HATE cleaning up the mess!!

Vodka Sauce is another favorite. Send me your recipe, I'll post it in it's page on this blog, opps, forgot Mr. Admin Author, you could as well.
Bakers are in great demand Erika. Well, around my place anyway, I love baked treats and coffee, good coffee and good company.

Looks great BH and I'm sure it tasted good too. My wife and I do a lot of the cooking around here, as well as the kids too. I now have two sons working as chefs and a third that would like to. My second son is spectacular at making desserts. My wife and I love to bake too. Yesterday I made apple fritters and they were delicious. Baked apples were earlier in the week along with apple pumpkin muffins. Boy am I getting hungry for some dessert. Better go make something.

Sounds great. Like Erika I would rather bake then cook lol. Baking has taken off again in the UK due to the number of baking shows/competitions that are on tv. My 2 daughters like to bake as well. Cooking and baking is so much better for you, at least you know what has gone into the meal/baking. I all so make my own bread, albit via a bread machine but again i know what is in the loaf imhave made.
